Best Nazi ever!

I'm just teasing (and jealous that Germany got a ship in Kancolle before 'MERICA), she is fantastic and you did a fantastic job on this!

He was earlier than the nazis.
In face he was the least a nazi of all politicians that time.

I wasn't talking about the man, Bismarck, I was talking about the Kancolle representation of the SHIP Bismarck.

Oh i see, well i haven't played that stupid game yet, so could you tell me, in which way a ship can be a Nazi?

Only in the sense that it was build under the Third Reich and was adorned with huge Swastikas: www.navweaps.com/index_inro/GE… www.battleshipbismarck.info/im…

For Kancolle they replaced it with the Iron Cross (which is often done in works depicting the Nazis due to censorship laws). I'm just having a joke at the fact that Bismarck, as represented by a beautiful blonde blue-eyed woman, as a character would probably share most of the views of the Nazis having been "raised" under them.

And yes, I know that as a warship it wouldn't have been any more or less evil then the people who crewed her. But, it WAS designed to be a representation of German maritime power and the German people (and especially the Nazi party) took great pride in her. Hell, that's why the Hindenburg had Swastikas on it too, to show the world the strength of Germany and the Nazi party.

TFW american people know more about your countrie's history than you do...
Okay this all makes a lot of sence.
And the replacing swastikas thing is really familiar to me. (i.imgur.com/VcOeHKj.png not much relevant, but much funny instead)

Was that from the recent Wolfenstein? Yeah, I've heard that Germany has some strange and outdated censorship laws, especially regarding Nazis.

Yeah it's from "the new order".
Censorship laws: well yeah, we even have a only-for-germany censored version of Team Fortress 2 without blood, because that would be way too hardcore even for adults. Some games are completely banned in germany, like that new Mortal Combat part, but i don't really care.
And if the censorship gets outta control, there's always uncut patches ;)

this shipgirl, no, this shipwoman, she demands your attention.
little known fact about the Bismarck, when the Nazis finished constructing her during WWII, Hitler observed her in person and said that this ship must be referred to as male, because a ship this large and imposing could not possibly be female.

But yet Yamato and Musashi were larger and more powerful and they were still referred to as female.

Were the Yamato and Musashi capable of withstanding a Tallboy?

Drop enough of anything on a ship and it'll do the job. Yamato took 11 torpedoes and 6 bombs (at least) and Mushashi was hit with 19 torpedoes and 17 bombs (roughly) before they sank, but I'm just going by their wiki pages so I haven't looked to see how that translates to tonnage. Bismarck took hundreds of shells but kept floating (although, utterly combat inoperable), but it was just one lucky hit by an outdated torpedo bomber that sealed that ships fate.

Seems like Tallboys were kinda wasteful against ships, looks like the British only scored a few hits while dropping dozens of the things on Tirpitz, with most of them just hitting the ocean. Then again, the British could use larger land based planes for the Atlantic campaign while the US was limited to smaller Carrier aircraft for Pacific fleet operations.

I KNOW RIGHT!?!?  46cm GUN BARRELS, NINE OF THEM FOR EACH SHIP!! THAT IS ENOUGH ORDNANCE TO VENTILATE MOUNTAINS.  I mean really, it was bad enough to demand the extermination of... well, anyone that was deemed unworthy of the right to walk this earth, but he could not even respect the ages old tradition... and people wonder why the Third Reich lost, it was because their "Guide" could not even prevent himself from leading himself astray.
